Hi, my friend and I Have reservations for the june 6-17 retreat. Airline reservations in place, mentally preparing for the trip, I have never been at that elevation, was wondering if there is any way to prepare for the change or is there any reason to even wonder? I’m so excited for this experience; Also how close are the volcanoes that are spewing now?
Volcanoes are very far away from us, so there is no effect from them at all. As for the altitude, perhaps come a day or two early, takes about 2-3 days to adjust if a person is sensitive to the elevation, but it doesn’t seem to bother most people. Just means you have to walk up the hill instead of run! No one seems to have a problem with it.
Hi, I just submitted a reservation form for the end of Jan. Havent yet booked flights and am not sure which is best/cheapest to go with, I am also interested in the tranpsort to the retreat that can be arranged.

When you send us your arrival info for Cuenca, we have the driver there at the airport to pick you up. Just look for the guy with the Gaia Sagrada sign as you come out of the baggage claim door!
Hi I just filled out the form I was kinda confused about arrival and departure Dates. Is it for plain tickit’s or the amount of time we choose to stay
When filling out the form, it’s the arrival and departure dates to and from Gaia Sagrada, not the plane ticket. Some people stay in Ecaudor for a while after or travel before coming to Gaia Sagrada.
What is the elevation of Gaia Sagrada? Is feb/march mid summer there?

The elevation is 8500 feet where the community center is, but we have a whole mountainside so it goes from 8000-9000 feet from bottom to top. Always warm though, never snows! Feb and March are still summer time in Ecaudor, but it just means things are 5 degrees warmer, nothing else. It is warm here during the day and cold at night all year long, always about the same!
Hello,i have submitted for Jan 2015, i could potentially arrive earlier to the retreat days, if so what would/could i be doing? i will by then be a EFT practitioner (also have nursing qualification) and am studying Meta Health..so…im here to help .:)
