Staying at Gaia Sagrada is affordable and easy on your budget, comparable to staying at any backpacker hostel or hosteria even though we offer so much more than just a place to sleep at night! Price includes use of hot tubs and sauna, free wifi internet, grounds for hiking, and use of the community center. There is a 4 night minimum. If you are not here for a retreat, the dates you pick must be between retreats. Here are our retreat dates.

Meals There are no restaurants around here. You are coming to the true countryside of Ecuador where the indigenous live a whole different way of life. This isn’t the city. This is a hacienda and organic farm in the mountains among country folks. This is the REAL Ecuador! We have food between retreats for $15 per day, just help yourself and make your own food. Fruits, vegetables, rice, lentils, cereal, bread, oatmeal, spices, everything you need! It is not prepared for you, but sometimes people staying at the center cook together and you can join right in! Help yourself!

Room & Apartment Prices

Spa, hot tubs, sauna, all grounds for hiking, free WIFI, and more. Food is $15 per day. (During retreats, room and food is included in retreat prices, no extra room or food charges during retreats.)

4 night minimum. ALL ROOMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE BETWEEN RETREATS IF YOU ARE NOT COMING FOR A RETREAT.

Food

You are welcome to have cold meats in the refrigerator, buy them yourself and bring with you since we don’t have meat here, but only vegetarian items can be cooked in our vegetarian kitchen. Just buy a cooked chicken at the store before you come, canned tuna, sandwich meat or something else that doesn’t need to be cooked or heated.

If you are coming between retreats, for $15 per day you can help yourself to the food that is here, fruits, veggies, rice, beans, cereal, etc. Meals are not prepared for you, but sometimes people who are at Gaia Sagrada between retreats cook together and you can join in! It is nice to be able to come and go in the kitchen and help yourself, feels like home…

During retreats no one is allowed in the kitchen unless they are ready to cut up some veggies and help get the meal ready.
